### Meeting Logistics & Process Improvements
– Discussed switching from Zoom to WordPress.org Slack huddles for future meetings

– Main concern: ensuring all participants have access to WordPress.org Slack
– Decision: Trial run next week in make WordPress Slack
– Current meeting format: 30-minute sessions with optional extended discussion### GatherPress Development Updates
– Version 0.34 bug fixes in progress
– Several bug tickets created for current release
– Events list block completely replaced in v0.34
– Map functionality rewritten (replaced Google with new tiles system)
– GatherPress.org deployment issues
– Site keeps reverting to v0.33.3, causing fatal errors
– Jeff and Mervin investigating server logs
– Issue occurs Friday mornings, needs hosting provider access

– Velda discovered site was wireframe-only, not functional

– Try WordPress.org Slack huddles next week instead of Zoom; confirm access won’t exclude anyone, and share notes back into the other Slack if needed
– Investigate why GatherPress.org reverts to v0.33.3 and causes fatal errors
– Review Andre’s RSVP refactor PR and leave comments if needed
– Report the remaining broken GatherPress feature on the WordPress Student Club site so the team can confirm whether it’s already fixed or needs a bug report
– Add issues for PHP 8.1-specific improvements and link them to the PHP 8.1 upgrade work for v0.35
– Start a discussion capturing the event namespace / repository-pattern refactor ideas for 0.35 planning
